No comments

The whole comments archive is not available! I don't have enough disk space for ALL the 5M+ comments archive at the moment! Perhaps they return later. I still collect them into the archive.

About the comments

Thanks for all the comments! Comments - except those posted on news, which are quite public anyway - have no names or e-mail addresses.

Currently, I get about 10 comments a day. I will not answer any e-mail about these pages. There are several reasons to this:

1. I don't have time to answer.
2. I think the effect is best when they have to think themselves.
3. Most of e-mails have false or forged address.

Don't send me over 20 pieces of the same e-mail, or megabytes of trash, because I will just report them to abuse and postmaster of your site. I haven't mailed you the Satangame page zillion times, have I? And no, I won't report normal e-mails, of course, just real e-mail bombs!

T$R and Steve Jackson Games already know about the page, you don't need to tell them! T$R has actually mailed me about the page, and SJG had a link to it on The Daily Illuminator (tm).

How the comments are processed

1. I remove names, addresses and signature, only as much as is required to conceal the writer's identity.
2. Nothing else is removed, except perhaps binary data.
3. I do not add any typos!
4. I translate the text to HTML but try not to change its appearance too much.
5. I try not to add any comments of my own there. If you see something like [Blah blah. Some text.], it was added by me. But it is not my business to interpret the comments or to explain anything.
6. And yes, of course I know that a certain comment is not from FBI! But it would be great if they would e-mail me about the page!
7. People claim that Gary Gygax's comment actually is from Gary. But I'm still skeptical about that.

I can tell you that

...the universe is a big joke.

I've played RPGs since 1984. Started with D&D. Check my collection of RPG books. I haven't burned any of them.

Note: all typos on the Satangame (and the new "Love thy Neighbor" page) page are intentional. I could fix most of them if I wanted. The often-commented phrase "LARD didn't mean us to wear clothes" was originally meant to be just a random typo, I noticed the ambiguousness afterwards :)

Have a closer look at the backgrounds. Note the angle of the pentagram, and the small, dim text in both backgrounds.
