In your "read the answers" link on the current version of the site, you say the fact that it is a joke should be obvious. Actually I have known people who would rant like that, and the idea that one would make a web site like the very funny spoof you put up is not entirely beyond the realm of possibility. I would suggest that people taking the site seriously is as much a result of religious and social fanaticism as it is a result of gullibility.

I just want to give my opinion about the aspect that you give to role-playing games....
As with many things in life everything as a good and a bad side....roleplying is a good example.......i believe that it is a good thing what you´re doing...but still think you may need and opinion... yes it is true that roleplying could be taken to the extreme of sinning, maybe killing, suiciding and many other sins that are clearly wrong.....
But i tell one thing....it is not the game itself that promotes these sins but it is the people that play them which are predestined to the commiting of these wrong acts, whichever they may be. I´m a roleplayer, a very strong one, it is just one of my many hobbies, i´m a catholic....done my first communion and confirmation at the age of 14......i am a student with fairly good grades and i´be been playing since i´m 12. Of course it has some things that kind of pagan as you say... i completly agree with you, as is the example that killing people in the game improves your character, but that is just a game, it has a message, yes it does, but it also brings many other good things....some of them maybe hte social interaction, the "acting" that one does to interpret your character and many other good aspects. Yes it is true that it may be interpreted in a very bad way, but the sins made were not because of the game itself but because of the lack of love and comprehenssion that the child receivedduring his growth. After all its only acting.....just as you go to the theater to watch a play, roleplaying games are based on that.
Another point i want to give my opinio about...is just as you saw the "raise the dead" spells and many others, you also may have seen the "bless" spell and many others that give characters god power to fight the powers of Satan. So you see that there is the other side of the coin. Of course it has some pagan things, i agree with you, but you should not judge things that way, because you DO NOT speak from experience.You only look at the Pagan things in this game, and if we were to apply that philosophy to people we eolud find that we´re all Pagans, even you ,me, even the pope or the preacher that speaks to you every Sunday. God does not want anyone to look ONLY at the bad aspects of life, if we did so life would be full of disgust.
"Let the one who is free Throw the First stone"...words from jesus.... Besides it´s not like it is a sin to participate in a play, nor in a game that promotes the taking of a character...not only that but this game is designed older persons who have a judgement and responsability taught by loving parentsnot to naive children. And as you have evil characters you have good characters, like priests and paladins which are god´s warriors. Dont take this GAME too seriously...it is just a game.....and it is a very interesting experience.
You should Stop criticizing everything by its awful side.....all i´v e seen in your web page is a sane and natural devotion to God and Christ taken to a malevolent extreme...

I almost regret having to send you this e-mail, as I feel contaminated by your hypocrisy. While I am not Christian (in fact, I am an atheist) I have a number of Christian friends, and from them I have learned that the basic principles of Christianity are to be kind, forgiving, friendly, and understanding. You, however, are so closed minded and elitist that I cannot help but feel that you should no longer have the right to talk about these matters, were it not for my belief in free speech. You alienate everyone and everything, and many of your statements of supposed "truth" are really wrong.
For example, almost all of your statements about RPGers are false. I am an RPGer myself (the president and founder of the club at my school), and I have not done most of the things on your "Is Your Child a Role-Player?" list. I don't know what you consider to be good hobbies, as that link (along with most others on the page) is broken. I have not play an RPG for at least a month (though I do want to). I do not do any sort of drawing. I do not have nightmares (I never have), nor have I ever had insomnia. I wouldn't know about my diet, as I have been playing since I was in fourth grade, but I don't think my eating habits changed any. I don't write poems, and the only other non-school writing I do might be an adventure in the works. I do talk about many gods, but only in the sense that I find other religions interesting to study and learn about (even Christianity; Norse myths are especially interesting) I do NOT believe I have supernatural powers; I may enjoy playing these games, but I understand full well that none of it is real. I don't speak in riddles, though I find them interesting to puzzle out every once in a while. I do not speak against the Bible, though I don't care about it much one way or another due to my religious beliefs. I DO refuse to go to Church, again because of my religious beliefs. Note that I have always been an atheist; I was born and raised in that environment, and it makes sense to me. RPGs did not make me an atheist. Grade-wise, I have a 3.6 GPA, and I am at the top of my math and english literature classes. I do not collect good luck charms; I am not superstitious. I do find the IDEA of magic interesting; I do know that it does not exist. I do not threaten to kill people, and I never have. I also do not talk about suicide or death; quite frankly, not knowing what comes after death scares me. I do not neglect my personal hygiene. I do not hear voices; only schizophrenics and other people suffering from mental illnesses hear voices. I do not obsess over weapons, violence or war; I think war is the the stupidest and craziest thing humankind does. You won't catch any other animal trying to kill another animal of the same species. I have not made any "pacts with the devil" or "suicide pacts," primarily because I don't believe the devil exists and because I think suicide is crazy (see above). I do not cut my hands; I am not a masochist. I do not have tattoos or piercing jewelry; I think that bodily "adornment" of a permanent nature is foolish.
Since I am the president of a RPG club, you might think that I am the leader of a cult. This is also not true. I am NOT a "powerful dictator"; I always advocate freedom of speech, tolerance, free will, and open-minded understanding of differences, which is more than can be said about you and your hateful "page of love." I do NOT try to separate the players from their families; in fact, I become concern if a player is getting into the game too much or is playing it too much. I do not oppose Christianity or any other religion; if someone wants to believe something that I don't believe, that's fine with me. I do not claim to be starting a religion of any sort; I'm playing a GAME, that's all. I encourage differences among the players and their characters; having everything the same all the time is boring. Besides, differences (and tolerance of those differences) make for ore interesting games.
Just on the page itself, almost all of your links are dead, leaving you without any evidence for your arguments. You make an incredibly large number of spelling and grammatical errors, the most interesting of which is a misspelling of LORD (which you spelled at LARD)
Along the lines of the book "Deities & Demigods," why did you buy it? You make all these statements about how the books are evil and demonic, and then you go and buy a copy because it was cheap ("What a great deal! A demonic handbook for only $12! I need to add this to my collection!") It reeks of hypocrisy and falsehood on your part.
Even without religion, my parents did an excellent job of raising me as I grew up. All of their rules made sense and had purpose, and they always taught me to effectively be Christian in principle, but without the religion. I always do my best to be a gentleman, to be kind, friendly, helpful, entertaining, and generally a pleasant person to be around. I grew up being an upstanding member of my community without any sort of religious background. This is the one thing that I am most proud of: That I was able to be a good person WITHOUT needing to follow a religion. I do what I do because I want to, not because I am required to by some higher authority, or because I am seeking some eternal reward in an afterlife.
Lastly, I find your views on women and African-Americans repulsive. In this respect, you are one of the biggest bigots I have ever seen. I would have expected a Christian (or a person of any other religion) to be advocating equality, not rejecting it. I advise you not read any Buddhist literature, as its equalitarian views are almost the exact opposite of your own.
Please note that I am not trying to tear down your beliefs and turn you away from your faith in God; I am simply trying to point out inconsistencies in your arguments, and I am trying to open your eyes and your mind to a greater level of tolerance. I hate to see good people twisted by feelings of racism and false superiority of any form, regardless of whether or not those feelings have "religious backing". I understand your ideas on some levels, but I think you are taking this too far for your own good.
If you actually read this all the way through, you are stronger than I thought! I thank you for listening to my arguments and beliefs, and I hope we need not conflict again.

First off, I want to apologize for my pre-mature flame. The link I found took me directly to the "Love Thy Neighbor" page, so I never saw the Answers page or the pentagram. Incidently, you really can't see the letters on the hearts. For some stupid reason, I never realized that it was a joke until someone else pointed it out to me. I have seen some pretty weird stuff online, so I thought that this was just a little weirder. After I learned that it was a joke, I read it again, and found it much funnier. In fact, it was sort of funny the first time, but when you said that thing about women and African-Americans I got mad. Without that, I would have just signed you off as another nutcase online. D&D and other RPGs are games!!!!! In says so in it's name! Nothing in the pages of those books should be taken seriously by anybody except in the context of the game! Period.
Secondly, let me point out something. This quote is taken from your page, lets see how many of these apply to Christianity:

Yep, Jesus is considered a messiah and is a dictator (gave several commands which the apostles had to follow)
2.Cults force their members to give away their freedom to choose.Yep, Christianity brainwashes little kids and other converts into giving their money to churches and doing other things for the church.
3.Cults strive to separate the members from their families.
Very often, families are split apart by differences in religion when one parent is Catholic and the other Protestant for example.
4.Cults often claim they can do "miracles" and turn down the Bible and the true christianity.
Christianity claims miracles were done in its name (although there is absolutely no evidence for it), but the second half doesn't apply, although it does deny all the other cults in existence in the world.
5.Cults oppose the True christianity and campaign against it.
Again, Christianity opposes all other religions which have just as large possibility of being true.
6.Cults claim they have the only true religion.
So does Christianity.
7.Cults forbid individuality and attempt to achieve uniformity. All their members must have an absolute belief and behaviour.
Have you ever been to a revival meeting? With everyone clapping and singing in unison? Sounds suspiciously like what is going on above.
Conclusion: Christianity is too a cult, according to the definition you set forth in you web page.

Hello! I have just checked your website about the satanims rituals and other divergences. First of all I would like to say that i am atheist, therfore i doo not belive either i God or Satan i just belive in terrenal facts. However, i got very impressed about your work. I not only found excsesive some of your theories, but also found tnem even pervert. Just to take an example: the Jar Jar doll as a sexual instrument its something that appears really messed up! Discovering of sexuality its somthing as natural as common, in any healthy kid. To link this natural process with a satanic theory is something that results pretty ill to me. And at the end I found that fanatism is the worst mental cancer for anyone: reduces the tolerancy, the comonwealth and can even create real fights between people, I guess, at the end, the real key to solve the human problems its to give freedom, and not try to classify other people work.

I have been roleplaying for 11 years now and still enjoy the hobby and the people it brings me into contact with. Over these years various groups have irrationally opposed this hobby (although less vocally here in the UK) but I feel that any parent who takes them seriously is not worth worrying about and that children will not be dissuaded from this hobby by the irrational ramblings of their genitors. Now, I am in the belief that everyone is entitled to there own opinion. However, you have done nothing but slander roleplaying games without real proof or accusitions.
About suicides among those who are deemed "gamers". do a little research, it actually shows that it is 90% lower than those who dont. Look at the grades... truely do of the same, I would hazard to guess that they remain higher than non-gamers. Roleplaying games open the mind to problem solving, independance and creativity. Something, that even the Holy Bible doesn't offer. I have read the Holy Bible, A few times now, while it is good reading, I find it very hard to follow a religon blindly. I have the upmost belief in myself.
I believe that I can overcome any adversity, I do not have to believe in a supernatural being, I believe in myself.
Open your eyes... put that believe you have in god, into yourself. you will be amazed in the results.

(just calculate this: lvl say, 8 fig w/ 66 (almsost 666 btw) hps will be able to withstand even 5 hits with max damage from long sword - 66 - 5 x 8 =3D 26! A satanic lie!)

Being a person who has and does play D&D and IS a Christian, I find more evil in you than anything that is in D&D.
Although, considering how many books you have..It does seem like your web site is a joke. You might wanna leave off some of the more hard to find book references, because to other players it makes it look like your an rpg fan trying to be silly.
Plus the mud thing makes it look even worse. AND if it is a joke, you better be careful, I got the site from some REAL Christian group who are using it as way to increase their cause and its working too. Granted, it does not take much to fuel their fire, but still.
